What is the fixation with having Indiana players and coaches here? Provincial thinking. Recruit the best like Kentucky and Duke.

Most of the 80s and 90s weren't exactly good, a lot it was pretty horrid.

I don't know, lots of great Country Music in that time period. But yeah the new wave and pop weren't very good.

Because a lot of the best come from the state! Not necessarily high on Alford but we have a lot of talent from this state going elsewhere. (In case you hadn't noticed) :) We need a system we can recruit to and find people, no matter where they're from, to fit the mold.

First post.  Time to jump in the water.  IU is completely gutless for not hosting Tuesday's game.  If you are sticking with Crean then play the game at AH and take your lumps.  If not, let him go and play the game there and see how much support you have.  Looks weak to run and hide.  Great look for IU administration.  If job does open i am sure coaches will be lining up for this clown show.  Embarrassing for all associated with IU.

Yes , Crean would get 3 mill next year. But making 1.5-2 mill over 5 years is worth more than 1 year at IU for 3 mill.

Crean has to know we will suck next year right?

Welcome Capt. G.   Extremely disappointed in our response and students not on campus just doesn't cut it as a valid excuse for me.  But on the other hand, I'm going to take this as just another indication that CTC is gone and that will help ease my disappointment that we won't host the game.

The NIT game is on the road too... (no one will show because students are on spring break or so they say). Might help Fred in letting Crean stay a little longer knowing he won't have to go into a hostile fan base that wants him gone. How long are we going to give him to find another location? It's like those ads that say"dog free to good home" and no one answers the ad.
