How did Crean miss on Beachum. Kid fits his type of player perfectly. I dont even remember seeing us in on him seriously. Another Fort Wayne kid. Bade, Beachum, Blueitt, Guy, the whole Butler team lol and this year. That is why I am okay with Alford. If he got even half these kids and threw in his big name kid every year or so then he could build something here. He isnt the only coach that can recruit Indiana well though.

No doubt. If he's let go, he's easily one of the top coaches on the market. Look at what he did for Marquette and a shattered Indiana. He's a rebuilder, not a perennial contender.

Not his biggest fan but a middle power 5 school or mid major even a high mid would be crazy not to at least call him. He has won at two levels. Was pretty consistent at Marquette with less pressure than here. That is telling as why I think he would fit great at Mizzou or Umass.

If there isn't a team interested in him that should tell Glass something.

I've been trying to assemble the logic of it all and it comes down to this: unless almost all of the information & speculation we've been reading/hearing over the last week is false, Glass intends to make a change.  If there was meetings with the reps of any other coach, it would mean a change is coming.  If Crean was in talks with MO, then he either knows he's out or should be fired to shopping himself around while under contract. Combine those points with the lack of any show of support from our AD, and I think the case is pretty strong.  

Who and when are the big questions.  With upcoming game(s) in the NIT and possibly pursuing coaches in the NBA or with teams that may be playing for a few more weeks, the timing of events is likely complicated and fluid.

Well Crean wants to be seen in public recruiting or he would not have gone out tonight... Something tells me that Glass does not have the balls to fire him. I did not watch a game at the Hall this year despite being a season ticket holder for 12 years. I will not go to a game next year with him as the coach, and I have already told Glass that I am done contributing to the school and program until he is gone. We need even more people to write Glass and do the same. Dry up the funds going to the program and get it done. I am a two time grad of the school and am disgusted with this lack of athletic oversight. From not conducting a proper football search to this debacle, I am through....

Could be some big names out on market. Jeremiah Tillmon and Trent Frazier are both studs. UCLA's whole class is good. I heard Mizzou had a 4 star kid waiting on the new coach to decide. State had a good guard as well. Umass has 2 4 stars last year they may have a kid or two. I expect more to happen in the next day or so. Most schools have came out and made their choice, but coaching leaving old schools for new jobs could bring more kids into the mix.

Crean is gone. I swear some of you people need to relax. There is no justifiable way to bring him back. I have a better chance of getting a private show from Tyra Buss than Tom Crean being the coach next season

chuck martin and crean out on the recruiting trail is scaring me though. whats he suppose to say. im not sure where ill be coaching but you should go there
