Sorry to be an optimist, but I think we are a lot better next year. Less guys that NEED the ball to be dominant. I think Newkirk has a HUGE senior year. Think DG takes major strides. RoJo always gives me hope. CuJo just needs fundamentals down and a better handle. Not giving up on him. DD can be ALL B1G caliber. Freddy is gonna be our scraper. Juwan if healthy can have a breakout year we expected this year. Needs more confidence. Moore is a stud. I expect him to be a Ethan Happ type of player maybe better not next year though. He will give us depth. Smith will give us an athlete who can have DG type impact that he has gave us this year probably a little more since he gets more minutes. Durham and Gelon both provide a quality skill. Durham with his driving ability and Gelon with shooting but he is probably not coming back. Last but not least Priller time. I actually think he has some Tom Pritchard in him minus the dunks. Potential to make big plays when it is leadt expected. I think whoever is our coach the tourney and a top 6 finish is a must. I just hope his last name doesn't rhyme with bean haha.

I know it is not a popular opinion on here---but I would take another look if we made an NCAA Final Four run ---and Banner 6 would do the trick for me and get him another couple years to see if he could keep us elite. That would be the progress I expected to see this year given our talent and early season success. Back to reality---I do not see that happening and the inconsistency and lack of improvement with excellent talent is why it is time for a change. Just another average seed and sweet sixteen berth is no longer enough. He has had ample opportunity and been unable to deliver the results expected at an elite program.

Style? Or philosophy?  I think that nights like tonight only serve to reinforce why I do not care for Crean as a coach.  High % of made 3's doesn't always mean that offensive execution was great.  By the numbers IU still had a lot of issues.

Yall gotta stop treating these games like they are job savers.. he's leaving on his own. Sit back, enjoy this last game(s) and root the boys on. I mean, Blackmon just played like he should have his entire career.. setting up others and playing engaged defense. This team is a different animal WITH OG out when that happens. Juwan Morgan is exploding in front of our eyes like OG did last season. Relax, let's go crack some BigTen heads!!!

Trust in our sources, pray those who have stated it's past the point of Crean returning are getting good Intel.  I'm holding out hope that Glass won't be easily influenced by the BTT games.   With that said, if we win the BTT we are going to be screwed, and Missouri fans, too.

Does anyone find it odd that right when crean was announced gone by sources that the boys look like a top 25 team? Pressure off? Possibly wanted crean gone? Or as crean would say they just getting healthy? The reason they shot so well last night imo was ball movement and hustle and improved intensity on defense. Weird to me
