I love hearing all of the rumors concerning what is taking place behind the IU curtain. Just trying to temper expectations on what the final outcome will be. I am just hoping we all don't end up with egg on our faces if its business as usual after the season is over. I will be excited no matter who the hire is, but some candidates will obviously make me more excited than others

Can't recall for sure, but I think Donovan and his family were really involved in a school/church in Florida to the point where Donovan's kids stayed to finish high school

They did found and open the very first Catholic high school in Gainesville, and I believe his kids went there.

Not sure how old his kids are now though.

I can't get past the timing of Billy Donovan's Florida house going up for sale.

Why do this now?  Why do this 2 months before your offseason is going to start?  If this had been done in October, that's one thing.  But the end of February is entirely different.

The problem with the Billy Donovan rumors, not that they may be true or not, but so many people want it to happen, that they will accept any positive BD rumor from any anyonymus poster.  

Some of those that I trust are saying Billy is willing to listen, and that's where it's at, those who say Billy has accepted the job to replace Crean, or that it's already a done deal I am far more hesitant to believe.  

I still think if Crean is going to be replaced, which I don't doubt that he will, that the search for a new coach is ongoing, and will continue for a couple more weeks at least.  Alot of variables at play.

I don't recall any so called inside sources predicting the Sampson or crean hires.I call bs on these rumors and likely they hire nobody expects. These inside sources are rarely correct.
