How'd we go from Crean firing is inevitable to he's staying? 

I believe he should be gone but I have not truly believed he is done at one point yet. That is how feelings get hurt lol. The fans may all want him gone but the media is conflicted. I know that dont know as much but our insiders havent really provided solid enough details where I already think he is gone. He probably is but I am waiting a week or two to really put stock in either. I think if he can find another job that is what it comes down too. I know 4 million aint much but I just dont trust Glass. He has 4 million personal reasons to keep him and idk y he would listen to one of them. He didnt hire him and I know they came in together but he has a lot more reasons to can him. We shall see soon enough.

If we keep Crean I won't watch or attend a single game next season and if he gets an extension I'll probably go Cleveland Cavalier fan and burn all my IU stuff.

No surprise but word around Marion last night wasn't about JBJ at all last night. It was about RoJo & Hartman. Both will be playing next year just not for Crean. Dk how much truth there is to it, but everyone expects the Hoosiers to lose mass amounts this year. Like 6-7 guys. I did not expect that but honestly if that were true itd only mean Crean was staying. Like I have said a few times JBJ is always talked about but no one else on our team is so when a rumor starts it is usually true but this only makes sense if Crean stays. Maybe we can salvage a cpl guys w a new coach.

Would be absolutely shocked if we see Hartman anywhere but IU playing basketball, truly think he's done with the competitive game. His senior speech seemed like he was saying he was just tired of injuries.

I heard from a couple guys who went to the game last night one is a Purdue fan and their stories were very similar that almost everytime Crean was yelling at his guys you could hear it quite a ways up and it usually involved no basketball. Heard Glass got word down to Crean to calm down once or twice as well. Also said he was texting a lot of the game even when it was close. Either Fred is done w Crean or our worst fear he just doesnt care. Both aren't good.

That's what I was thinking when I first saw the post. You'd think Glass has moved on from Crean by now but who knows for certain.

I share this feeling.  I'm getting to an age (mid 50's) where I feel that another lackluster hire may just mean never seeing my team pose a realistic threat for #6.  There is absolutely no excuse for not making a significant upgrade to the coaching position.  If not now, then when?

I'm hoping Priller gets some real minutes against OSU. I legitimately enjoyed watching him play against Purdue because that's the first time all year I've seen fundamental basketball and the kid killed it. If only everyone else played as hard as he did.

New name popped up on 247 called BTowninsider. Not sure if he has legitimate sources or what, but says we should start getting excited. Says Crean will be gone and the excited part was in reference to who our next coach could be. Hopefully it's true. I'm probably reading into everything too much but man I want all of this to be true. Looking to grasp at anything right now

Oh I agree, and the said part is that she is older than me and an alumni from probably the end of the Knight era! But she's just a fan, never played any sports and it is extremely hard to argue with her about basketball. Uses the injury excuse every time and responds like well did you ever play basketball? Uh yes, in fact I did and my dads best friend was the HC of my high school that had a Knight style strategy and mind set, so yes I played, was around basketball my whole life and understand the game leaps and bounds more than you! That response really pi**ed her off, LOL!
