Had 2 or 3 straight Elite 8's I believe. Not shabby. Being in the position to make a final four consistently is what we want after all, no? Not endorsing Sean Miller by any means but he is a young rising coach and a VERY elite recruiter.

Well he hasnt had Wade. Wade was good in college. Like REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY good. Wade carried that team. He is my fave player. And one of the best colllege players in the last 20 years.

Miller has definitely underperformed but has still achieved quite a lot. He has had teams in the top 20 for nearly a decade and has had 4 elite 8's only missing the tourney once.

Crean's one FF was great but he has not done enough since then to rival Miller. Consistency will be the key. Keep competing for the BT title every year and I think the postseason success will follow

Wichita State as an 11 seed was brutal luck. So fundamentally sound. We might have advanced last year had we not faced them (better than advertised). And yes, I am still pissed we lost to a mid major team but I am giving them more credit.

Marshall has a good gig there in Wichita. How he does going forward will be something to watch.

Anyways, I'm excited for the game tomorrow.  When this team plays to their potential they are damn fun to watch.  That's why the inconsistencies are so maddening.  I'm hoping we keep dancing for a long time.

Marshall has averaged a championship a year over his 16ish years of head coaching. He knows what he is doing. His track record has shown it isn't a Van Vleet/Baker thing.
