Is it as simple as that? Everyone gets a pass as if this season didn't happen? That could be very interesting in basketball, IF the same thing applies. yes everyone gets a free year Quote

Bryant Fitzgerald will move into starting at husky. On a positive note, over 1200 rapid covid tests the last few weeks and only 1 positive test (non-athlete). The rapid test has been great for the university. I've been tested several times and I'm not the one positive. IUc2016 and lillurk 2 Quote

I am worried about the schedule not allowing for any postponements so hopefully the university as a whole can keep the cases under control so the football team has a better chance of playing all its games. The difference is Big Ten is testing every day. Also, IU is testing 10K students, faculty, and staff every day also. Most conferences are testing two times a week with students, not on campus. Now it is a little scary that Indiana just opened everything back up. Kirkwood was hopping Saturday night. So we'll see how that goes but proud of how IU has handled all of this. Stuhoo Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 There is no doubt in my mind that if Penix stays reasonably healthy, we will be in a bunch of 41-38 games this year. ALASKA HOOSIER and BGVille Hoosierfan 2 Quote

Stuhoo Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Not to be a jerk-face or anything, but is it fair to say that our home field advantage might be jes' a little less than for a team like Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.? Therefore, could we be getting an 'empty stadium advantage' in our road games that outweighs our 'empty stadium home game dis-advantage' this year? Naturalhoosier 1 Quote

I had a similar thought regarding home field advantages/disadvantages. But that doesn’t change the fact that you are indeed a jerkface. :) Class of '66 Old Fart, mamasa and Stuhoo 1 2 Quote

We’ve had some questionable calls go against us, at home, against the likes of UM and O$U in the last decade. It’s more an issue in the Big Ten offices than with home field advantage.
