Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 That’s optimism at its finest. Wisconsin seems to be the team that loves blowing us out the most. We have suffered some real whoopin’s at the hands of the Badgers. If we keep it within 20, that’s probably a win. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appIt’s always about stopping the run. I know its totally different players, but he was able to coach really good run defenses year in and year out during his time at MSU. mamasa and Napleshoosier 2 Quote
rcbowla Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Brutal stretch of 6 at the back end of that schedule. Definitely not sure what to make of that MSU game yet though as I watched exactly zero Colorado football.Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 I haven’t caught our schedule for next year until seeing this today. First thought is I actually think we have a pretty favorable schedule. If you're gonna get an upset at Wiscy, more possible in game one when you might get them still figuring some things out than late in the season. I generally look at OSU/UM as losses regardless, so rather have it be two of our road games which gives us a Mich. St, Maryland, Purdue team at home that would be tougher to pull of at their place. Assuming Penix stays healthy I think 8-4 is reasonable with an outside chance of catching Wiscy not ready and rolling and putting 9-3 in play. I made the trip for the Gator Bowl and had a great time. Would love a crack at another warm-weather Bowl game. mamasa 1 Quote

Burton was a d-line coach at Michigan State from 2013 until this move to IU. He's got an impressive resume. Spartans had the best rush defenses in the Big Ten in 2013, '14, '17, and '18. The kind of move I like to see. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 6-7 wins. QB is still a HUGE question mark with the Ramsey transfer. Napleshoosier 1 Quote

That would be hugely disappointing in my opinion. That would likely mean we lost to Purdue, Maryland, and Michigan St. at home to only end up with 6 wins. Maybe last year has me too optimistic, but that would be damaging to our momentum as a program. Alford Bailey, thebigweave and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote
