It can't be stated enough that if we want to be an improved team next season, we either need Moore to step or Forrester to come in and provide some minutes right away. We have no one that can defend the post against a decent big when Davis is on the bench.

Yeah I think we could have a decent front court next year.

Davis 6'10 

Moore 6'10

Forrester 6'9

Morgan 6'8 

Thompson 6'8

Smith 6'7 

McRoberts 6'6

Not to mention we have to rather large wings coming in with 6'7 Hunter and 6'6 Anderson. I think this is an area we will be much improved in next year.

The last statement about the low post defense and blocked shots is really good to hear.We really dont have that on this team.Weak side rebounds and putbacks by our opponents are a big problem.Hopefully Jake will help there.

With Davis at the 5 we won't see elite athleticism but he can provide solid defense. The 4 between Morgan and eventually Moore and Forester will provide weakside blocked shots and big rebounds.

On the opening day of the National Hoops Festival, Indiana signee Jake Forrester strung together one of the best efforts I’ve seen from him. Forester, a 6-foot-8 power forward, played with energy and used his athletic ability to impact the game in the paint. Forrester finished off plays around the goal, was active on the glass and dunked a number of drop off passes. Forrester finished with 22 points on 10-for-15 shooting and 10 rebounds in a tough loss to Georgetown Prep.

Forrester had 22 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to Georgetown Prep at the National Hoop Fest on Dec. 9. Forrester was scoreless in 10 minutes in a 77-69 win over Holy Spirit at the National Hoop Fest on Dec. 10.

Was he injured, sick, or foul trouble in that third game? 10 minutes seems really low for a key front court player.

Just look at the total rebounding numbers.  PP with 33 and Westtown only 16.  I don't recognize any of the names either but you can check out their season at:  http://www.prolificprep.org/201617schedule

He sounds like a for sure four year guy who might need a redshirt season. I'm not seeing numbers that show he could come in and play right away unless the competition is really good.
