I'm pretty neutral on this decision, but I do find it funny that it's only former players that transferred or never played under Wilson that are trashing him. Everyone loves to spin their own narrative based on playing time.

I know nothing about football (well i do but, you get what i mean) but i never got a good vibe from Wilson. I get a good vibe from Allen. Good for IU, moving in the right direction.

Wow I almost feel bad for Coach Allen. This is one of the biggest days of his life, his entire family is here, and his press conference is being overshadowed by a falling out between Wilson and Glass. Should this have been a separate press conference?

Either way I'm extremely happy for Allen. You can tell he won't take this opportunity for granted.

Coach Allen says all Indiana HS coaches are welcome at practice to grow and learn. Said he will make recruiting in state a top priority. Also said he will be a major figure in the state.

He's a wonderful speaker.

Allen was important. Removes uncertainty allows us to capitalize on the chaos in south bend and keeps any new hire at Purdue from having an easy time poaching our talent.
