Going to keep updating these every week. Let me know if you'd like another poll included. If we have this going somewhere, I missed it and will delete...

I'm not a huge fan of the RPI but it would be a good one to track as well.

BTB member poll, IU poll tracker, prediction league..  all things that make BTB great and educated.  Good stuff pap

Added it, no problem. Right now it has Northern Illinois as #1 overall :)

But I get it, for whatever reason it's still factored into the tourney so it's relevant.

Probably better in its own thread to be discussed throughout the year but..

Do we believe the committee will ever switch to advanced analytics to choose the field and seeding?

Solely? I doubt it. It could be manipulated. But I think the committee will evolve into it. To what degree? I don't know.

The committee chair said in an interview last year each individual can use whichever they want and gave a shout out to kenpom. Whicita st high Ken Pom ranking last year was probably one reason why they got in last year

I'll be interested to see what happens in next week's polls assuming IU wins both games this week.. IU beats Kansas, Kansas beats #1 Duke last night.

Not to look too far ahead, but that Kansas win could have some major Tournament seeding implications.

When UNC rolls into town that could be a top 5 showdown.

I think IU jumps at least Oregon in the polls and possibly Duke. Although, ESPN made sure the viewers knew that Oregon was without their best player. Duke, with their squad healthy, is the best team in the country but without I think we're better.

I mean, they still lost by 17. Maybe I already just assume Oregon is perpetually overrated in everything...... don't know maybe I'm just a hater of Oregon athletics?
