    AJ Moye Returns

Our hero is returning to the Hall for the first time since playing here! You ladies and gents at the game better get some A-J M-O-Y-E chants going and let this guy know how much he is appreciated. Would be neat if there was some sort of special recognition for the guy. He was my first "favorite Hoosier" and that block on Boozer leading to the upset of Duke was really my first memorable Hoosier moment and the one that sealed the deal for my heart bleeding Cream and Crimson ever since.

(2020) SG Anthony Leal to IU

I’m in a different place on this. To me, locking down the borders isn’t getting every good in state player. It’s getting every good in state player that you want. Romeo, TJD, Brooks, maybe Lander, they’re high profile, must get kids from a strategic perspective. Those kids can’t get poached. A kid like, say, Franklin may help that narrative, and I’m glad he’s coming, but he’s not fundamental to it. At this point, it seems the staff views Leal more like that. 1 other point: If it’s true that Leal would jump on an offer, then you can’t really offer him until you are certain he’s your best option. If Archie wants, say, 2 guards in ‘20, and he views Morton, Love and Burnett as clearly better, than you can’t offer Leal until you’re out on at least 2 of them. Haven’t seen any of these kids, seeing Love next Saturday, but it’s pretty obvious that Archie sees options other than Leal at this point. But if the kid keeps putting up 38 on people, he’s gonna play himself into the best option.

This kid is good. Lander finished with 28 pts, 8 rebounds with roughly 5 assists and 6 steals. PROS: - Scoring: Was efficient. Finished well around the rim and completed a couple and 1's. - FT: 12/12. Enough said. - Defense: Thought he was very active on defense and had about 5 or 6 steals. - Rebounding: Was very aggressive rebounding on both the offensive and defensive side. - Decision Making: I thought he was very sharp with his decisions and passing. Played very unselfishly and was able to pass into the middle of the zone effectively. CONS: Outside Shooting: His shot could use some work. He went 0-3 from 3 in the first half and didnt attempt one in the 2nd.

I wish that every player that dons the Crimson and Cream would play with half the heart and hustle of this young man! One of my all-time favorites.

Congrats to USPS and Fleek for having their priorities in order. Be as supportive as you can possibly be of your kids regardless if they're destined to be jocks or tech geeks.

Understand that! He is a sophmore though and can make improvements in that area. Slick with ball in his hands, can shoot, dish and shoots 95% from the line. If he didn't get hurt and miss the last 8 games of the season Fr year, would be well on his way to possibly being a 3000pt scorer.

I am pretty dissapointed in everyone's reaction. Horrible night but amazing year (and as you know from board I am often somewhat negative when warranted). I am about to post a nice eulogy for the last couple seasons and I hope when everyone steps back they realize what a remarkable 2 yr run its been.

Nick Baumgart hasn't seen the official line but thinks Kiyron Powell of Ev. Bosse may have had a triple double tonight: points, rebounds, blocks. Official line: Powell finishes with a triple double of 12 points, 15 rebounds and 12 blocks.
