WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 WE TRY TO WIN THE GAME BY PASSING TO MOTHER ******* GOODSON?? REALLY??? Steichen had a great season ruined by a total dog **** decisionThat’s tough. Had it all lined up to win. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
KingPG21 Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 What a shock. Dude is open and Minshew does what he does best. Makes a bad throw. So we should just cut Alec Pierce. What a waste of a second round pick. Absolute bust. Quote
Hoosierfan1901 Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Welp, I don’t have to worry about the Colts anymore Quote

Loss is on the decision to put the season on whoever the **** Goodson is. Agreed on Pierce though thebigweave 1 Quote

Goodson had no carries and no catches and you just drew up the biggest play of the season for him? It’s the equivalent of Woody drawing up a game winner for Cupps. Of course you don’t. Aaron Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 It was the night of CJ's in Indiana for better or worse. One CJ (Gunn) had his best game of the season and made Indiana fans very happy while another (Stroud) broke the heart of many in the state. J34 1 Quote
HinnyHoosier Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Steichen once again getting cute with play calls and costing his team dearly. Quit trying to be the smartest guy in the room and RTDB. Leaving the game's must dominant player on the sideline with the season on the line only works in Hollywood. He needs to lose weeks of sleep over that and then never do it again. CSP Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Loved the play call. Drops/holding calls are an offenses worst enemy. Quote
TheWatShot Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Would have rather seen the ball in Taylor's hands. Maybe he gets the first, maybe he doesn't, but if he doesn't, I doubt anyone would be saying the Colts should have thrown it instead. thebigweave 1 Quote

I find this a non-story. It was pretty clearly the correct play call, my god, how much more open/better of a spot does a coach need to put two players in? Leo 1 Quote

Season on the line, you need one yard. Goodson is your guy? Terrible decision Quote

It’s gonna be Taylor or Pittman or Downs or someone else you’ve relied on all year. Josh and thebigweave 2 Quote

Terrible decision Ahh. I don't share that opinion. That's ok though. I also would have been fine with hammering Taylor there, but I understood the thinking behind not going to him there. You'd hammered him all drive and were going to have to more if you converted there. I didn't love Goodsons angle to start his route, I thought he needed to create more width and that would have made things a lot simpler. Quote
Hoosierfan1901 Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Sigh…Colts would have been AFC South champs and have a playoff home game, instead they are sitting on a couch WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

But Miami feels to me like a total fraud and they’re beat up to boot. Hovadipo 1 Quote

At the same time, having neither of your starting outside pass rushers and CB2 against Mahomes or Allen is about a death blow itself. McDaniel might just run up to Jacksonville and kick Pederson and Trevor Lawrence right in the shin. Quote
