RatpigHoosier Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Lol, these refs trying to keep ND from losing by 50How was that not a turnover? Took it out of his hands cleanly. Ball never touched the groundSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app 323SGrant 1 Quote
RatpigHoosier Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Loved all the talking heads before this game "This isn't like 2012, Notre Dame is bigger and faster, they're ready for this" Nope. They look outmatched on both sides“Bigger and faster” does not equal “big enough and fast enough”. The SEC’s tip tier and Clemson are on another level. Hovadipo Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Hopefully OU can make it a game later. Not convinced they can, but it has the potential to be fun. Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 It’s been a collision course all year for Alabama vs Clemson Quote
KingPG21 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 So Tua is definitely way healthier now than he was against Georgia Quote
johnsoniu Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 To win a national championship in college football, you gotta have dudes. Bama and Clemson have a lot of Dudes Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners MemphisHoosier and thebigweave 2 Quote
LIHoosier Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 So much for Oklahoma at least being competitive on the offensive side of the ball Quote
Alford Bailey Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 You couldnt put Georgia in but IMO they are the only team that can hang with Bama southsidehoosier and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 It's time to stop putting Notre Dame in these games. They play a weak schedule and then get embarrassed come bowl season. Notre Dame in premier bowl games this millennium: 2001 Fiesta Bowl: lost 41-9 2006 Fiesta Bowl: lost 34-20 2007 Sugar Bowl: lost 41-14 2013 BCS NCG: lost 42-14 2016 Fiesta Bowl: lost 44-28 2018 Cotton Bowl: lost 30-3 mamasa and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote

So there isn't a huge talent disparity but one guy being out hurts you that much. Okay, no, but there was big difference in talent and depth Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Put a mic in front of Zamia after the game. I won't agree with a single thing he says, but it would be entertaining Quote

323SGrant Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Notre Dame would have a game with Ohio State. They’d destroy Rutgers, Maryland and Indiana. They’d likely beat Michigan State and Penn State this year. They beat Michigan. They beat Northwestern. They’d beat whatever other team from the god awful West. The Big Ten East was pretty overrated this year. Notre Dame still could have gone undefeated. Notre Dame had a fairly good schedule. They beat Michigan, Northwestern, Stanford and Syracuse. They’ve ended up beating a schedule that’s went 78-72. They definitely played a much tougher schedule than most teams. They also played 8 teams who went bowling. Schedule isn’t an issue for them. But they definitely fail when it comes to the big time games for whatever reason.
