https://athlonsports.com/college-football/paul-finebaum-predicts-national-championship-winner-without-hesitation

I am truly shocked that Paul Finebaum would think Georgia will win the championship. Shocked, I say.

Their starting QB is out? Irrelevant. They won the SEC championship so they're obviously the best team in the nation. Probably among the best ever.

Choice between them and the Super Bowl winner? Georgia, without hesitation.

Favorite part was “Lincoln Riley, Bill Belichick”. One a massive disappointment and another is a guy who couldn’t get a job in the NFL because he was 41-55 before Tom Brady and 29-38 after Tom Brady.

Sure, but under today’s rules, Tom Brady can transfer to North Carolina and have two years of eligibility left.

I just don’t understand…..lol Great for him! Actually, awesome! Just look at her…but he’s 48 years older than her!!! I wonder how many grandpa jokes have been thrown around?

It’s gross.  Indicative of someone who’s just not a good human

I realize everyone is aware of the ridiculous Stubhub fees but here is a real life example.

IU at ND, section 125, row 4 seats  are $1,166 each.

Including fees, however, they are $1,576 each.

$410 in fees to electronically issue a ticket !!!!

Section 125 tickets are now available for $800 including fees. Still expensive but they have dropped from $1,576 (almost 800 buck drop) in three days.

Bet they will continue to drop as out of state season ticket holder realize they won’t be able to “ring the bell $$$$” to the extent they initially thought. Hopefully it gets to the point where a number of Hoosiers are in attendance.

I saw Seat Geek has several ~$550 tickets in the lower sections

ok, I need 1 of the actual football guys around here to explain Ewers to me. My untrained eye sees a very solid guy who doesn’t make special plays. What am I missing?

I have a sense that that's Oregon. And if it is, a big ole fish named Dante Moore will hit the portal.

Moore was supposed to be a GUY, right? Would they be punting on him already?

Kinda crazy how in the span of about 10 years a scout/coach has gone from somebody who needs to analyze and predict future potential to somebody who needs to gauge fit with the team. At least at programs that can spend money.

I wonder if that’s going to create almost two different groups of scouts/coach. You spend years evaluating one thing it’s not going to be easy to just transitioning over

The thing that kills me about the Portal/NIL combo is mid-major programs pitches have become, “Come here for immediate playing time and exposure and our development program will get you a giant bag from a power conference school as a soph or junior.  That has got to feel so gross to some of these guys.

He's a QB for a team that's in the CFP and will be hosting a first round game.  He's not awful, that's for sure. I'd be happy if he were at IUFB but some folks might not agree with me. I think his biggest critiques are his 'accuracy' (65% career) and health. Last year was his best year. I think you hit the nail on the head with what you are seeing. Solid QB that doesn't make too many special plays. I would add he doesn't make too many mistakes either. Has a solid arm but sometimes misses open spots from time to time. (Social media destroyed him for his performance against UGA. I think all of that is unfair but that's just me.)  I'm not sure that translates to playing on Sunday though.
