TTT Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Michigan offense looks like IU Tom Allen and offensive coordinator offense…conservative, lack of downfield plays including passing it’s going to be that way until they get another coaching staff. Telegraphing and predictable. Limited and unable to stretch field. Just trying to rely on physical play. Quote

Washington scored (again) on the next play. It's 24-17 Huskies with 6 minutes to go. Some day Indiana will start getting "gimmes" like this, right? Thankfully Michigan isn’t good enough to take advantage of the fact that the League office is really working for them. Quote
DChoosier Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 There is a decent chance UM will be a 4 loss team when they arrive in Bloomington. Hopefully we will make it 5. Stuhoo 1 Quote
TTT Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Alabama coach gas heat burner igniter on first click. Just a matter of time (may be a couple years) Michigan will be looking for a coach. Quote
cthomas Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I think we beat Michigan, maybe badly, when they come to Bloomington. This is definitely not the old IU. It's going to take a minute for everyone else to realize that, but they will come around. RoadRage 1 Quote

I swear… we better be ranked ahead of UM come Monday. And Minny really should beat USC here. Given some of what’s gone on today would love to see IU in the teens this week. southsidehoosier 1 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Washington with a FG... leading 27-17 with 1:06 to go. southsidehoosier 1 Quote

Hovadipo Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 We have a legitimate argument for the 2nd-3rd best B1G team right now. USC and Michigan STINK. PSU might stink. (Cig and Co. would surely kick Allen’s teeth in to make a point in a head to head.) OSU the obvious #1. Oregon’s pretty stout and their shaky start turned out to be against good teams, but that could be a 2a and 2b situation. RoadRage and Home Jersey 2 Quote
DChoosier Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 At the end of last season, when Allen was still coach, I WOULD NOT HAVE DREAMED that given a choice I would prefer to have IU’s offense over UM’s offense this season. Quote
RoadRage Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 My guess IU is ranked at least #17, maybe lower? WayneFleekHoosier and Hovadipo 2 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (23) IU wins. (1) Alabama loses (4) Tennessee loses (9) Missouri loses (10) Michigan loses (11) USC loses (22) Louisville loses (8) Miami just under way Updated to reflect Tennessee's loss. Yeah, gotta bump this because all 3 of these teams lost as road favorites, Mizzou got boatraced, while IU won comfortably as a road favorite. Voters better freaking notice this week. RoadRage 1 Quote

Yeah, if IU’s history makes it too tough for voters to swallow and put them ahead of a bunch of high profile 1 loss teams, fine, just keep winning. But they better not be behind any 2 loss teams. cthomas Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I actually like being under estimated. Take us lightly and we'll kick your @$$. It's amazing to me that an IU football team can beat a team by double digits on the road and we still talk things we didn't do particularly well. We are in uncharted territory. I haven't felt this way about IU football since 1967. go iu bb 1 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Arkansas just scored to go up over Tennessee 19-14 with 2pt attempt coming. 1:17 to go. UPDATE: 2 pt attempt failed. Quote
Demo Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Wow, Arkansas has some 250lb freshman RB that has some Tennessee kids making business decisions. Kid looks like Jerome Bettis. Quote
