This is interesting. Iowa fans have been bitching for quite a while about Li'l Ferentz running the offense. Notice that the news was delivered by the interim AD. Wonder if Dad couldn't bring himself to make the move -- or tell the lad he was fired?

Swinney hasn't adjusted to the transfer portal. Dude is getting a dose of reality with what 90% of CFP coaches deal with on the regular basis. He could have easily avoided this season had he embrace the portal. His rant indicates he's digging in his heals about the portal. This mindset will most likely be the cause of his own problem.

Expanding on his portal issue, not only does he not really use it, I don't think he's figured out how to pay kids when he isn't the only guy in the room with money to blow either.

The lack of having an elite QB also plays into Clemson's "woes."

Sounds like the Big Ten coaches were pretty fired up in a conference call yesterday about the Michigan situation. Some good stuff from The Athletic detailing it all. I think they should be pretty annoyed that likely nothing will come of this, but I don't envy Pettiti's position at all. If all of the allegations are true, this is so unquantifiable and unprecedented that I'm not sure what a proper punishment looks like if they want something done now, especially when the NCAA's investigation isn't even complete.

I have this sinking feeling that all that will come of it is the oh-so-brutal "vacated wins" tactic while Jim goes back to the league, when it should probably be something more along the lines of "staff-wide show causes" if there is solid evidence that people knew. (And let's be clear, people knew)

So Harbaugh was on the conference call then gets off the call so everybody else can complain about him. This is just weird especially if the dude was disguising himself on the sidelines. But let’s be clear, universities with 100000 seat stadiums will not be punished.

DeBoer was on the Dan Patrick Show today.

TBH, didn't say a whole lot -- but here it is if interested. Dan didn't seem to realize that DeBoer and Penix were together at IU. Shoulda done his homework. LOL.

Better than a soap opera.

Several sources at Michigan and in the media tell TheWolverine.com they are gathering evidence on two private investigators they believe are behind the investigation into U-M’s alleged illegal on-site scouting. The same sources also believe the two are responsible for the media leaks that have kept the story in the news for weeks. Both allegedly have ties to Ohio State head coach Ryan Day’s family.
