Impressed with what Orgeron is doing at LSU. Wasnt sure he would return them to elite level.

Offense has been their biggest issue over the last several years. Mainly at QB. Now they have a star QB and the likely Heisman front runner. LSU obviously has an insane amount of talent just like Bama, Ohio State and Clemson... but it goes to show how important a good QB is and they finally have one(and he just so happened to have transferred from Ohio State).

Guy has always had it. Give him a reasonable amount of talent and he will succeed. His Ole Miss years he just couldn’t bring in the talent he wanted.  His scouting was superb.

Even if K State stays ranked both Wake and San Diego State will drop out and us and Texas will move in...that is unless Oklahoma State, who is also on a bye, jumps us for some reason.

Dropping down to the FCS for a second. A player at William & Mary (out near me) donated bone marrow three years ago to a kid from Ohio who had leukemia -- helped save the boy's life. On Friday, they met for the first time. Nice story ...

From what I have counted.
74 teams will go bowling in 37 games(the 38th is the natty).

As of now 55(could be off by one or two, Virginia Tech does have 6 wins but has to win 7 because they played 2 FCS schools).

17 teams have 5 wins(including VT with 6)

31 teams with 4 wins who still have a chance.

9 teams with 3 wins who still have a chance.
