That's why there needs to be legislation that courts can cite as the justification for prohibiting certain acts. Courts rely on precedence, statutes, laws, and ordinances. Once there are legislated rules in place and players lose in court, the confeences will have the ability to enforce because they can have confidence they will win on appeal. The timing of investigating Sorsby and not releasing the matter to the public until within the period that legal maneuvering can allow him to get an effective victory is... unfortunate. In retrospect? They probably should have banned him the second they had one item of hard evidence, and then superceded with additional evidence. Sometimes an anecdotal episode is the price that needs to be paid to effect change. Quote
