I've been a pretty big advocate to just adopt it and be done with it. Frankly, I don't understand why the SEC is apprehensive. The more the teams in a playoff the more it benefits the big dogs like them but whatever. We'll get there once folks realize that 16 isn't enough either. Quote

If I had to guess I'd say it's a money thing? I say that because the FCS did 11 game seasons but they are now doing 12 game seasons. Maybe they're worried they might lose a home game against Mercer?
