Uspshoosier Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 @jeffborzello Purdue freshman Caleb Swanigan is declaring for the NBA Draft, but will not hire an agent. With so many kids that are going to test the draft u figured we could put them in here unless there is already one dedicated to that WayneFleekHoosier, hoosierpap, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote

Lol little brother must be sweating bullets. He really shouldn't go, but the way Painter misused him I gotta think theres a real chance he does just leave. Quote
biteoftheapple Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Kris Dunn, also declared. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Yep nothing wrong with that at all, not like our guys that got suspended for their legal guardians wife buying bumper stickers before they were born. thebigweave, Class of '66 Old Fart, ALASKA HOOSIER and 5 others 8 Quote
djsalway Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It's just because of the new rules. Obviously no chance he actually goes. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 They'll be so many kids declaring under the new rules, you wonder just how much valid feedback they'll receive. Diadem 1 Quote

Normally, I would say no chance but I'm not sure he was pleased with how things ended up in boiler land. I think he goes if he gets feedback he'd go in the first round. Quote

Fulkme15 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think Troy and Bryant will declare. Hopefully they both come back, but realistically could see Bryant leaving. FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote

I just don't see TB leaving.. Talks about how much he likes the players and coaches and the relationship they all have. By his in-game expressions i can tell he just enjoys playing college basketball.. Stays at least another year if not more theriverpilot, Tom White, ALASKA HOOSIER and 3 others 6 Quote
Kepner Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think Troy and Bryant will declare. Hopefully they both come back, but realistically could see Bryant leaving. If he continues his play in the tournament, but before the Kentucky game he struggled against any quality interior defense. I think he is a great young player but if he leaves someone isnt giving him good info Tom White 1 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 If Bryant plays really well on Friday and we win that could boost his stock enough. If he does we probably need to start look and scoring big men grad transfers just in case. Quote
HoosierRob Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Bryant said last year his plan was to be at IU for 2 years. But vonleh also said something to that degree. I've said all year that TB would be back next year. But if we keep winning and he keeps this up, I could really see him leaving. 8bucks 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 IMO, Momma Bryant is the decision maker for TB, and I have a feeling she's not ready to see her baby go bump and grind with the big boys. I think we've got him for 1 more year. (typed with a 95% confidence level) Tom White, Napleshoosier, Bobman1 and 2 others 5 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It all boils down to projection. It almost always does. At least we don't have to worry about the "Simmons Effect" due to being a poor student. Alford Bailey, HoosierAloha and IUsafety 3 Quote
IUsince1980 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Also, dont forget, even through our wins in the reg season, Bryant usually wasn't putting up big numbers. We have never really counted on him for more than 8-10 points, 5 or so rebs. He just blew up in the UK game. He still has a lot to work on and I believe he craves to get better. I'd be stunned to see him leave. Bank on him back next year. ALASKA HOOSIER and theriverpilot 2 Quote
