I haven't read through this entire thread so forgive me if I'm repeating someone...

I wouldn't say I have an "inside source" rather a loose connection inside the program and from what I've heard through them is that Romeo is far from a lock to leave early. It seems Tim Langford may be somewhat in control here....

Take it with a grain of salt, just thought I'd pass that along

Why wouldn't his dad want him to leave early?

Thanks for sharing, definitely something to keep an eye on. That would change a lot of perspectives for next year.

Not criticizing you, and I know we’ll hear more rumors about this, but I’ll eat my shoe if Romeo returns. It simply isn’t happening

No Romeo tonight
I didn't get to watch the B1G tourney game due to work so didn't notice him getting injured??

sitting out will only fuel speculation that he's sitting out the NIT in anticipation of the draft.

cue Kravitz....

Yes he went to the locker room for a spell, looks like the same lingering back issue he has dealt with in the past.

It’s really not that far fetched that Romeo comes back. He’s simply not ready for the NBA

It doesn’t matter if he’s ready or not. He’s about to make millions. It’s not a hard concept to understand

PS I don't think he does either.

I wouldn’t be able to hold myself to that lol but I do feel that strongly about him not coming back

Not everyone is like that. We’ll see with Romeo. I’m not saying it’s likely. Not completely out of the question though

Post-Game presser Archie said Romeo probably wouldn't play next game either, but he kept alluding to it being a quick turnaround with a game on Thursday. Appears the next game isn't until Saturday now... hopefully that gives the back time to feel better and this is truly an injury situation and nothing nefarious.

Romeo may get drafted on the hope that he develops. But no guard who can't shoot will play in the NBA. It's not going to happen. On one level I don't blame him for taking the money. Anybody watching yesterday's game can see he isn't ready to play in the NBA. But who wants to sit on the bench all season.

The Oklahoma City beg to differ. They love guards that aren’t shooters.
