I'm sure Romeo and his family don't want Garland narrating his decision and running his mouth all over social media. Being a reason they are friends make sense, but not this. Sucks. I hope Romeo gets to make this decision with people knowing it's his, not his dad's or not Garlands. I still haven’t seen a link to that video. I’m sure they wouldn’t want that. When did Garland say that stuff? Quote

Ajwhitis Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 https://twitter.com/MB_Weaver/status/963982375494541317 Romeo liked this on twitter, take it for what it's worth, but one thing is for sure. He knows we want him and he seems to appreciate it, at least enough to acknowledge it on twitter. He does not do that when KU or Vandy fans tweet at him. HoosierDYT 1 Quote

darB s'tI Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Keep in mind the twitter game Garland played, liking, retweeting, and trolling all things IU. It was shocked at how intentional he was until the day before he committed. Remarkably childish. I'm not saying Romeo is that way, but DG definitely did it, with intent. maharkn Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 I could see him announcing on senior night in front his family and friends and a full crowd that is just there to see him.Sent from my XT1650 using BtownBanners mobile app Chris007 1 Quote
Popular Post Capt. Crimson Posted February 15, 2018 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2018 It's pretty funny how worked up grown men get over where an 18 year old kid decides to play basketball. MemphisHoosier, Hutch89, IUBBFan1970 and 8 others 11 Quote

Yes but in all fairness he is not your average 18 year old kid and sadly some of us have lived our entire lives around iu basketball lol. Getting him would be a big deal for iu basketball imoSent from my SM-G920V using BtownBanners mobile app Iugradman, IUBBFan1970 and Hoosier Guy 3 Quote

Hoosier Guy Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Romeo is the biggest recruit to get in some time. It’s bigger than Zeller. That’s just fact Iugradman, coonhounds and Btownclouds 3 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 I don’t know if Archie needs to adjust his recruiting pitch or what but we should not be fighting and scrapping with Vanderbilt and UCLA for kids in our backyard. I guess we are paying for the sins of our past.Or we're not paying for the sins of our past.. if you catch my drift. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Would it make everyone feel better if for some reason Romeo doesn't make the visit to Vanderbilt? Would we feel like we got Garland and Vandy back some for how they treated us? I'm not worried about the visit. His dad said all along they were going to make a visit there. They have a plan and they are following it to the letter. I want Romeo, but I won't read into this anymore than following their plan.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk IUHAHN81 1 Quote

I really don't get comments like this.. The kid was 17 years old. What makes you think he deliberately trolled IU? You think he took the time to do these things just to mess with the IU fanbase intentionally for what reason exactly? He must be some kind of diabolical sociopath. I'm going out on a limb here... Maybe he was excited about all the love he was getting? Maybe it was a really tough decision for him that came down to the wire, but ultimately he thought the better choice for himself and his family was to go to Vandy? yogisballin, Stromboli and Hoosiers96 3 Quote
