Hoosier Guy Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 1 hour ago, IUrocker said: If I remember correctly, Hoosier Guy’s same calm and confident demeanor was on display once the Crean firing rumors started swirling. There were people saying he was gone, while other reports said he was returning, which led to tons of people wondering what was really gonna happen. All the while, Hoosier Guy stood firm with the “Relax, he’s gone”, or “Be patient...”, etc. Then bam, Crean was announced being let go. Personally, for me and that in mind, it really makes me lean towards thinking we really could be getting our guys. Same deal goes for Romeo and Darius with the whole “Relax, they are coming to IU” stuff. If I’m crazy for leaning on those comparisons, then maybe so, haha, but dang it sure does make me believe!! I completely forgot about all that haha. But yeah Stromboli 1 Quote

Josh Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Isn't it ironic that Kansas is the home of the original rules of basketball and now they are among the greatest cheaters out thereBasketball was invented in Massachusetts by a Canadian. This same inventor once opined that although basketball's roots were in Massachusetts, it was made for Indiana.Kansas just likes to claim that they invented it since Dr Naismith eventually went on to coach there. Josh Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Kansas loves to hype how James Naismith coached there and that they own the original copy of his rules of the sport. But remember, he said this: Beat me to it. Kansas is so full of themselves I can't stand them. I don't think they know basketball outside of themselves. Iugradman, ALASKA HOOSIER and IUc106 3 Quote

Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Meyer just posted UK has closed the gap on KU with Grimes. My guess is Romeo has a good maybe even great visit, but it'll take a lot to take over the lead for him. Herro is also been picking up UK picks so I am gonna say if Grimes goes to UK, KU really goes after Herro. UK has no sure fire guys that are leaving next year so I would be leary about them. Quickley and Green will surely be the starters next year. Diallo is definitely gone. Quote

I know you said it will be hard for Kansas to make up enough ground on this visit, but should there be a little cause for concern for the Grimes situation if he decides against Kansas?Sent from my SM-G950U using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Sent from my SM-G950U using BtownBanners mobile app I would think they would put the heat on Romeo so possibly, yes. Their recruiting class looks really good for next year but they do not have a SG committed. They will lose a few pretty good guards next year (Graham, Svi) so there certainly could be minutes available from right off the bat. Quote
