Today has been a bad day all around. Sounds like everyone needs to hop off the boards. No news until Sunday more and likely. I will say acting like you can just post whatever you want is not a good attitude to have. This board is free. It's respectful to respect what mods ask of us and not cross any lines. I have wanted to say things plenty of times, but I don't pay a dime to come here and I appreciate that so I keep my opinions to myself at times.

Sadly since Archie got us in the convo with both kids, I expect fans to try bashing him. Everything you said was spot on but there will be a lot of hurt if we lose one or both. Regardless this showed analysts and other coaches as well as future recruits that Archie can play with the big boys so I see it as a good thing regardless. 
 
As for Romeo's KU visit, I will predict this now, people will say the visit was great some cbers will change picks and then once the visit is wore off and he decides to make a decision, I expect a switch back to IU from those same people. I got sold out apparently on here though so the rumor mill will be strictly pms in the future just to let everyone know. 

I just don’t see how people would be hurt if we don’t one or either when in April of 2016 between the players up to 5 hall of famers were tracking and building a relationship with them, while probably in the same gym CAM was watching McKinley Wright for Dayton. If in 4 years we are missing out on these type of kids then maybe it will be time to have a discussion but in month 8 and before he has even coached a game that’s a stretch in my opinion.
I’m different then most when it comes to following recruiting. I follow it as closely as anyone could without being paid to do it and don’t lose my mind if we don’t land the people we are tracking. Since I’m a college basketball nerd when I watch other non IU games if there is a old IU target it gives that game more meaning for me. When I watch Tcu I’m reminded of Fischer, Watch a Wake game and see Crawford, SMU and there is Skake. I will enjoy following Swider next year for Villanova since I watched 4 of his games over the summer.

Believe me as a long time message board reader and poster, "bud" is confrontational 9/10. Especially when the rest of the post is in disagreement.

Thanks man! Definitely a great group of people. I’ve had plenty of disagreements here but they always end up as water under the bridge.

Another HUGE accomplishment for CAM in his first 7 months on the job. We had TWO high level recruits/young men at HH going into decision time.

Getting them to HH and having it go as well as it did can't be undervalued here

It really is unbelievable how much better it feels to discuss recruiting this early with the new coaching staff. Even better, it's great to have faith in the way they will play basketball. Whether or not they get either one of these recruits, we are in an exciting place for Indiana basketball again.

Archie & co have done a awesome job. Landing 4 ranked kids in 8 months isn't an easy task. Keats has done a great job as well but back to Archie, along w those 4 becoming the favorite for 2 of the top 15 kids in the country at the same time is even more impressive. It's where he has seperated himself IMO. I expect there to be let downs no doubt but I have a great feeling with Romeo. Garland as well but Vandy has been there right with us for awhile so I can't say we're an overwhelming favoite like with Romeo. Things can change in an instant with these kids but I applaud Archie's efforts.

Every coach will have letdowns. It’s part of the game. But the elite coaches have fewer letdowns. And that’s where I expect Archie to be. Amongst the elite. Like you, I feel confident about both Garland and Romeo
