I am too lazy to look it up but I would think it would be very rare (maybe never) for a sole winner of the BT to be a 5 seed.
Win two more (MD and 1 BT) and we should be a high 3, maybe low 2.

The top half is rough...glad we aren't there, but I will gladly take the bottom half.  I would take the #3 in the East also.  Stay away from Mich State in the South!!!!

As close as Joe gets it with how many teams get in the dance, he doesn't ever have a bracket come selection Sunday that matches who teams actually play. I'm not worried yet lol!

I actually really like Lunardis bracket for us. Not for its accuracy but I think it would be advantageous for us.

I don't think they play in Chicago until the Regionals. The First two rounds are STL, Spokane, OKC, Brooklyn, Des Moines, Denver, Providence, Raleigh.

 

Regionals we could see Chicago or Louisville.

With 3 losses to teams with a + 100 rpi I think a 2 seed is the highest seed we can achieve if we win out. No team in the last 20 years has been a 1 seed with more than 1 +100 loss. But if we won our depending on who we would beat in the BTT we could possibly be top 5 in the ap and coaches polls if u care about poll results (I don't)

I actually like this draw. Not too difficult of a route to the Elite 8
