HoosierHoops1 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I've heard from unreliable sources that the Hall will have as many students in it as ever because they're all coming home tomorrow. I heard from a numbskull that they wouldn't be... so we'll see. Quote
HoosierHoops1 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 This game was part of the mini-series pack I think so I don't know about that Yes. Bad call by the athletic deparment Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Yes. Bad call by the athletic deparment Not much they can do about winter break/B1G scheduling...even though it's a day before school starts I doubt they would ever make it a student game since school isn't technically in session. You know what *will* suck? Traffic on 37 between students coming back and game traffic. Holy crap, thank God I don't have to be back until Monday. Quote
KingPG21 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Meh. Hoosiers blow this one open and win going away............... And my Trees are winning the MVC outright...... I mean haven't we said that two or three times in conference play now? It doesn't seem like this team is actually good enough to blow anyone out in conference play. Quote

Yeah, 37 is awful when students come back alone and for games alone. It's going to be a nightmare tomorrow. People in Indy will have to leave at breakfast time. Quote

People in Indy will have to leave at breakfast time. Crowd was bad at the beginning Tuesday night because 37 and 10th street were both parking lots according to people coming in. Students, game traffic, awful weather and construction are going to make that one ugly scene tomorrow morning/mid-day. Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 And weather. Yep. Good call. Just thought of that too while I was replying to Marty. Good luck to anyone going tomorrow. HoosierHoops1 1 Quote

Well, they could "allow" students who would be back in time to get a special rate "free", if they registered for the seats in advance, so they would know what was available to be allotted to the general public. It's 2016, that would have been beyond simple to coordinate. Yes. Traffic will be rough. By the way, restaurants were packed yesterday with 18-20 year olds... Quote

I could've gotten all games for $60 total. (I think that's what you were saying anyway) Quote

(I think that's what you were saying anyway) Even as individual student tickets they're cheap and the seats are good if you get them early. But, even cheaper tickets won't convince most students to come back to school earlier, especially this year when excitement seems pretty low. Hovadipo 1 Quote
Popular Post Alford Bailey Posted January 9, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2016 Hey guys, we don't get the game down here. Please post frequent score updates for me. PLEASE!! Poor guy, has to sit down there in 80 degree weather and wonder what the score is... thebigweave, Leo, ThompsonHoosier and 5 others 8 Quote

Then I anticipate a chunk of students there compared to Tuesday. "Most" don't go normally. Student section is only about 20%-25% of the student body Quote

My feed for the Bengals game is apparently from Indiana and I just saw you guys have a winter weather advisory until early tomorrow morning? What kind of weather are you folks expecting/ I'm thinking icy slushy roads are going to make that traffic even worse. I truly feel for anyone who has to make a drive to Bloomington tomorrow or tonight. Quote
