Maryland sophomore Justin Jackson is foregoing his final two seasons of eligibility and declaring for the 2018 Draft. "After talking with my family and weighing my options, it’s my desire to turn my full attention to preparing for a career in pro basketball." News story coming.

Interesting, he missed most of the season and was averaging 9 and 8 before that. He's certainly no lock to be drafted.

Another Maryland player leaving.

Maryland guard Dion Wiley will transfer, sources told ESPN. Immediately eligible as grad transfer.

That's not a big loss for them. As long as Huerter, Cowan, and Fernando come back they'll be tough. Real good recruiting class too.

Wonder if Fernando will test the waters, he was in some first round mocks during the season. That, along with Jackson, would be a big loss.

Dartmouth graduate transfer Evan Boudreaux just verbally committed to Purdue, a source tells @247Sports. Averaged over 17 points a game in his freshman & sophomore seasons.
When Mack left he reopened. He originally pick Xavier over Purdue

So let me get this straight. He is a graduate transfer that has 2 years of eligibility left?

Wow.

The one thing I'm not certain about is if he stayed at Dartmouth as a student this past year and had planned to transfer to Xavier as a grad transfer; or, if he transferred to Xavier this past season, sat out, and would've been eligible two years at X. Having two years immediately eligible suggests that he graduated from somewhere, but I don't know if he has a Dartmouth or Xavier degree. Interesting case...

I know there was a coaching change that impacted this, but it's amazing how many players seem to end up at Purdue after being committed other places.

I think it's just because they are so distraught that there's nothing to live for so the feel they might as well go all the way down into the dumps.

You can do quite well positioning yourself as a backup option.
