State of Recruiting/Do Rankings Matter?

Recommended Posts

Yup, I took longer to come around. Was probably blinded as I was in school 2010-2014 which were probably the highs of the Crean era.

Yeah. You and I went around about Crean back in the day. You always made educated arguments and Crean offered some great positives so I'd give him 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances. But deep down I knew Crean wasn't going to get us over the hump.

I know but ours are all still hot and ours win awards. I think part of it is the uniforms. I like PUs more than ours and generally everything looks good in black

They make the cheerleaders wear too much makeup, imo. I've seen a few just out and about and they look much better then than they do during games.

I try to support my beliefs in an educated manner. Crean could not get out of his own way.
I actually met Coach Miller the other night, talked to him for a bit, and heard him talk about his high level approach for the program. I've found that my first impression of people tends to be accurate, and I walked away impressed by CAM. He's extremely level and direct, and communicates his message clearly. I've found messaging and clear communication to be the most important leadership quality, and I think the program will be in great shape as long as he's head coach.

I get the same feeling. Plus A level staff.

Good to hear.
