Gahoosierfan Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I think we are all used to this. This has been IU's history in football, it is still disappointing. I keep hoping that someday we will be a respectable program. I am not sure that is going to happen. Kepner 1 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 It was ugly. We obviously can't win without Suds and JH. Get those guys back next week but more importantly don't let this snowball. ThompsonHoosier, HoosierAloha, Crimson and Cream and 1 other 4 Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted October 10, 2015 Author Posted October 10, 2015 Alright, there isn't anyway to put lipstick on that pig. If either Suds or Howard are a go, we could have worked without the other, but it obviously ain't working without both. Love Zander, but I think I'm going to stay with him where I was at the end of last year. He might be alright as a redshirt junior or senior. Redding makes a good #2 back, but its like he never sees anything except where his hole is supposed to be. Not enough speed to take it outside and outrun the D. A few good plays from the D, and a few big plays given up. I really hope Suds and Howard, but at least Suds are back for next week. ThompsonHoosier and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
Gahoosierfan Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I would hope for a 7-5 record, but looking at the schedule I think that's optimistic. IU will be a definite underdog against UMichigan, MSU, Iowa, and most likely Maryland. They will be an even pick against Purdue and Rutgers. Wilson teams have a bad habit of playing one good game and then being totally flat for the next couple of games . So I think 6-6 is the best they can do. Quote

I would be shell shocked if he couldn't play. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Suds better be able to go because Mike Miller just tweeted that Zander left the locker room with his arm in a sling. Quote

As of right now, 10-2 is the best that they can do. Will it happen. I wouldn't lay a solitary dime on it. But they are capable of beating any team on that schedule, although I'm getting really stretched to say that when it comes to MSU and Iowa. But any given Saturday...... Quote

He doesn't really need his arm anyway. He can't throw, actually if he's not making a play with his legs he can't do much of anything. Kepner, Hoosierfan2017 and Alford Bailey 3 Quote

Can give Howard a breather but I'm really not impressed otherwise. Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I think with Sudfeld and Howard we can win 3 more games (Rutgers, Maryland, and Purdue). But even with two more wins we can make a bowl game, which was the goal at the start of the season. If we can win one more than that, I'll be super happy. But 6-6 will be progress and will be okay in my book. Crimson and Cream and Miller'sTheMan 2 Quote

JSHoosier Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Totally agree on Redding. Can give Howard a breather but I'm really not impressed otherwise. I was thinking this during the game. He's a good complimentary back, not a feature back. Quote
