biteoftheapple Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Idk if this has been covered or not... But do we know why those players were suspended? The only release stated the players did not live up to expectations. So, nothing more has been stated. Quote

IU Hoosier41 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 At the end of the day, we are 1/6th of the way to my season goal of 6 wins. At the end of the season, I don't think any of us will care how we got the 6 wins if we do in fact get the 6 wins. Miller'sTheMan, KingPG21, HoosierReb01 and 4 others 7 Quote
Miller'sTheMan Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Something I thought about during the game: When SIU was hitting those tight end release routes that killed us, I was thinking how much Tegray Scales could of helped there. Quote
FKfootball Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 It's not like we were missing some freshman. It was Latham, Scales, Green, Gooch, and Dutra. Plus Fant didn't play in the 4th qtr. We were basically missing the best defenders on our team. But man, the 3 Srs Mangieri, Rayner, and Shaw were terrible. IU Hoosier41 and Miller'sTheMan 2 Quote
Miller'sTheMan Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Also I love the way Jordan Howard plays, seems like the first guy who gets to him has no chance of bringing him down. Crimson and Cream, HoosierReb01, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Wish I could have watched it, but man it seems that we played absolutely terrible! Can't wait to watch highlights from the offense though! Quote

Can't wait to watch highlights from the offense though! Trust me, you won't miss watching the defense (besides the 3rd quarter when they played well). I still think adding Dutra, Latham, Scales, and Green into the mix will help us out quite a bit especially Scales. That dude very well could be the best player on the team, period. Quote
Naturalhoosier Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Hopefully the 9 who didn't play will realize they aren't bigger than the program. Kudos to CKW for sticking to his guns on this one. HoosierReb01, Miller'sTheMan, jmsgws and 3 others 6 Quote
Prilla the Thrilla Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Really worried about the D-Line. Latham and Green are DTs and would have helped against the run, but we had ZERO pass rush. Mangieri and freshman Jacob Robinson played DE, and they both have DT/LB bodies. Not explosive at all. ZERO pass rush against an FCS line. Not good, especially when we need pressure to protect our secondary. Quote

FKfootball Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 If it makes u all feel better, UK barely squeaked out a win over a team about like SIU. Their defense was atrocious in the 2nd half. And Purdue most likely loses to Marshall tomorrow, so it's all good boys. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

No, you don't. That game was painful. An FCS team basically came in and messed with us. I know we were missing guys, but it just blows my mind how our defense can be this terrible. 659 yards…I just can't wrap my mind around how we can allow that to happen. 8bucks and Prilla the Thrilla 2 Quote

indianato Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I'm going to go out on a limb and predict we'll have a new football coach, new basketball coach and a new athletic director less than a year from now.no way glass goes anywhere. He has found money for buildings and coaches. Money talks. He keeps the donations rolling, he stays. Quote
