IU Hoosier41

OFFICIAL: Ferrell returns for Senior Season

Recommended Posts

Do you trust Kendrick? I've never been sure about him. I know some think he's an idiot.

Trust him a ton with recruiting info. Not sure how much to read into this. He could just be reacting like all of us and just thinking that since he's not just saying he's coming back or having his presser at IU, then he's gone. Or he could have heard some stuff. Typically a reliable source tho.

If he didn't play for IU, I would hope he declares and doesn't get drafted just for how "The Decision (The Sequel)" is being handled.

But, I really just want him to come back for his senior season! Would love to see a senior speech. Almost forgot what they are like.

I have to say, I HATE that Yogi and DocLibby have to constantly defend themselves against OUR fans. I am the first to be critical of Crean, as he's a paid employee. I am also very critical of players performance in-game. However, I always have OUR player's backs regarding the team and program.

Yogi is a phenomenal talent and I love that he chose IU. I like what DocLibby does as well. Is this presser above and beyond? Yes. Is it a bad decision? Maybe? But I have Yogis back through all this. The kid has big dreams and he's getting pulled in all directions. It can't be easy, thus we should be supportive.

All the D league talk/bashing is lowbrow. The Ferrell's know Yogis draft status better than any of us. I think he should return for a variety of reasons but I'll have his back no matter what. Blind loyalty in this case. I'll trust Doc and Yogi to make the best choice.
If this is all for hype and media attention, so be it.

That all being said, I hope Yogi returns and caps off a historic career! But if not, best wishes Yogi. Once a Hoosier, always a Hoosier!! :)

Very well said. Yogi works harder and wants to win as much as any IU player i've ever seen.

I just honestly don't know who thinks this is a good decision. What do you expect? Fans will hate it, media will think your a joke, NBA teams label you a prima Donna.

I mean, have you ever seen an announcement like this at a Steakhouse for a guy that might be a second round draft pick??

Good lord. I've seen it all. Wouldn't expect this out of Yogi honestly.

Well I honestly think it won't happen!  As this takes on a life of its own and goes viral the plethora of negative feedback will make him think twice about this and for sure (I would logically think) his parents!

I think it comes down to PG depth in this draft. Let's not forget that two years ago Shane Larkin (who is 5'11, 175 pounds) went 18th overall after two years in Miami. It's not unreasonable to think Yogi could end up a first round pick, but I don't see it this year. I am warming up to the thought that Yogi will get drafted if he goes.
