Ended 20th in the bracket challenge.  Damn, couldn't decide between Zona and Wiscy.  Pick Zona to the final though..

Well bummer.  I was hoping the Big Ten would get the W.  Wiscy had a great season.  They looked to me like they were a little tired tonight.  No excuses but you have to wonder if that hard fought UK game took a toll.  They could not stop the dribble drive.  Duke also seems to always get the calls down the stretch in big games.  Despite all that, Wiscy was right there with a chance to win but did not get it done.

 

Congrats BlueDevil2 A Hoosier!  Do you remember earlier in the year when we were discussing that Duke was the team to challenge UK for the championship. It's kind of ironic that UK's freshmen got all the hype and the Dukie frosh are the ones who bring home the hardware!

 

Now it's time for a deep IU run next year!

Yep I do remember that convo what a year. It's unreal to me that this team went 4-0 against Wisky and MSU this year. Many wrote em off after they booted rasheed off the team. I just couldn't be happier.

You have a right to be happy.  Any team that can beat MSU and Wiscy twice each in the same season is a true champion.  That is not a fluke and no easy task! Now, with all that being said, I hope the Dukies all go pro and we spank them in the tourney next year!  :biggrin:

I re-watched the second half of that game...Coack K is awful.  He worked the refs like non other; I despise that man.  Three championships have been gifted to Duke; this being one of the most egregious.  I can't believe I'm saying this, but Calipari is less of a scumbag than Coach K.

Did you see his half time interview? Talked about how Wisky only had two fouls? I knew it was coming in the second half and it did. Wisky didnt help themselves any. Didnt manage the game very well with that 8 point lead.
