Said this before and saying it again, Kentucky has ZERO talent in their godforsaken state (inbred) so they have to go outside the state and (acquire) talent.  Basketball and football alike...Craphole of a place.

Yep.  UK would be a mid-major if they focused primarily on the talent their state produces.  I remember one year the voted best player in their state went to Boston, not Boston College but University of Boston.

that's the frustrating part for me...Xavier, Gonzaga, Butler and Wichita State seem to have taken their roles as NCAA strongholds replacing teams like IU...

I know I know...IU hasn't been competitive in 20 years in the tournament except for a couple of blips...but it doesn't ease the frustration anymore with how some of these squads are showing us how it's done...
