Potential fallout from coaching change

Recommended Posts

AJ is saying all the right things. He feels bad for any coach on the hot seat but says he doesn't see eye to eye with Crean.

@ajguyton: @Cbruce576 no he and I don't see eye to eye. We had a run in which pretty much cemented our relationship.

"Run in that cemented our relationship". Ouch!

It would be nice to be scrolling through the forum 4 days before a NCAA tournament game, a winnable one at that, and not see comment after comment about getting rid of our coach. The grass is always greener I guess.

You could always you know avoid this thread or the other like this......

By "cement", do you think he means shoes? I'm all for it if he is. Hell, I'll even buy the "Quikcrete". It's usually on sale at Menards this time of year, during their "Basketball Improvement" sale.

I get it when those pop up in other threads but when you go clicking on threads with "coaching change" in the title you might just expect to find comments about a coaching change.

Why is this not surprising?

not, just more confirmation of other happenings. Sadly. I always wanted to like Crean. I will always be indebted to him for allowing me to enjoy watching Oladipo, Hulls, Watford, Troy Williams, Zeller, and Yogi.

Yogi, Troy, Zeller, Oladipo are some of the most fun Hoosiers I've ever watched.

I hope our next coach, when it happens can recruit Elite talent and mix it in with the team.

You are 100% correct. But me posting here was more me getting more and more upset seeing it in every thread and seeing this pop up. Maybe not the place to make my comment but it is disheartening to see all the talk when we are getting ready for a tourney game

I would like to know more about this run in? How does the head coach have problems with previous legends? Did this have anything to do with Calbert taking a new job away from his alma mater? Me thinks so and I wonder how many of our ex greats don't like Crean? Very interesting.

Dakich has spoke that the older players get very little respect from the admin.

I haven't heard that, but I'm not surprised. It's Indiana quote starts with the past players who have actually achieved the championships he will never achieve. Terrible.

I'm seeing a lot of speculation about Crean to Alabama on other CBB boards ( not just IU boards ). I still think DePaul or Seton Hall are a better fit for him.

Maybe Harbaugh wants to replace Saban and the Creans are preemptively relocating for the family to all be together.

What ifs that blow your mind.
