If we lose tonight, I think we're officially in the bubble and forces us to get a win against MSU and maybe one more win in the B10 Tourney.

If we lose tonight, I fear we also lose to MSU and our first game in the B1G tournament and end the season with a massive thud.  We don't have a history of strong season ending finishes under CTC.

I don't really want to nitpick this but it's a pet peeve of mine. Put a team on the floor that fans can get excited about Coach. Don't implore the fans to make extra noise. We will do that just fine when there is a reason for it. This isn't your first 3 years.. do ur job..

If we come out and turn the ball over immediately like we often do, the fans aren't going to feel like jumping up and down cheering. I agree that the fans feed off the effort on the court first and that helps to sustain the team to maintain their effort.

 

Have a plan of how to score on the first possession that doesn't include dribbling the ball off your knee.

 

The game isn't won on the first possession, but the tone of the game is much better if we can score early and get a stop. Focus on that. My son is taking his IU foam finger to the game, so he is ready!

HMP must not get into early foul trouble in this game (and the MSU game).  I think the shooters will be back on track again in the Hall but Hoosiers realy need that inside presence with Hartman out, escpecially defensively and on the boards.  Hanner and Holt, time to step it up a notch.

I can't speak for others, but for me, personally, I would feel great finally beating a legitimate team after 2 pathetic losses and 1 win against a good D1 high school basketball team equivalent.

I agree to some extent but if we beat Iowa and MSU and win at least one game in the big ten tourney, we can at least say we end the season on a high note which has not ever really happened under Crean. It's a pattern he needs to kick
