IU vs Rutgers Post Game Thread

at purdue with the game out of hand, I agree but in a close game. Nah.. it's been said he doesn't know the plays very well.
Rutgers was a team broken and uninspired by the end of the game. Not sure what I want to take away with April, given that situation

Yeah of course, Im not saying I want April in there in most close games unless the situation is right for him. But let's face it this season we have made Purdue look like UK. I guarantee April could help this team in certain situations in very limited minutes. Just to play a little post defense, rebound, block shots, or if anything lay down some hard fouls on some bigs!
I'm not saying April is the answer at the 5 but he is the only 5 on the roster and he is on scholarship!

IU had 13 TO's for the game; 8 were in the first 9-10 minutes. If we weren't trying to go 100 mph in that span, the final margin may have been 40 +.

Wouldn't mind seeing April get some of Stans minutes

I know I would rather see April posting up against a 6'10 center than Stan did against Purdue!
We all know Stan gets most of his minutes because of defense but CTC, " Cum On Man!!! "

6 TOs in the less than 7 minutes.  Troy had 3 in just over 3 minutes.  After that span we did a solid job of taking care of the ball.

Induana has brought the most fans of any school thus far...they are everywhere

It was packed with IU fans and I can confirm contrary to what people said about games at MSG there was no booing of Crean at any time.

I think if he improves he could get 10 to 15 minutes next year. I know this was a bad Rutgers team, but it makes you wonder why he hasn't played at all this year, I mean he's on a scholarship so why not play him ya know?

He looked good on offense but he got beat rather easily on D, so I'm guessing thats still part of the equation he isn't getting

people were booing and yelling at Crean at MSG but we also got beat by 17 in the second half. Little to boo about tonight in a 30 point win on the road

Hanner was fantastic tonight, albiet against a terrible opponent. Good for you for pointing out Hanner's energy and production. It was real.
