IU vs Rutgers Post Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Got to admit, given the previous contest at AH, coupled with the Purdue loss, I thought that IU would come out flat and RU would be jacked up.

Good win...a needed win. Got to keep it going.

The turnovers kill me. RJ and JBJ remind me of VJ when he was a frosh/soph.

He showed some promise. Makes you wonder what he'll look like next year if he's still here.

I think if he improves he could get 10 to 15 minutes next year. I know this was a bad Rutgers team, but it makes you wonder why he hasn't played at all this year, I mean he's on a scholarship so why not play him ya know?

I said this last game but Perea is close to being a very good player. If Crean or staff could just get him to lock in and stay confident. I love having him as a senior. I was wanting a post feed. Just once. With that baby hook, I don't know why we use it as a wrinkle.

I like blackmon but that dude is still selfish. He will take 2 and 3 guys on and pass up wide open shooters. He is still awesome regardless. I think Troy has become less selfish comparatively.

I hope Hartman is okay. We need Johnny on the spot heading down the stretch.

Can't take much from the game but very nice to see the guys having fun out there. Rutgers is awful.

Losing out or not, we are in the tourney at the age his his point. Let's finish strong!

What would it hurt to play April a few minutes against teams like Purdue? He could have at least took up some space and its not like we could stop Hammons or Haas anyway.

at purdue with the game out of hand, I agree but in a close game. Nah.. it's been said he doesn't know the plays very well.

Rutgers was a team broken and uninspired by the end of the game. Not sure what I want to take away with April, given that situation
