This one is my favorite! Does anyone remember the play that inspired this face?

I think Yogi fouled on a three point attempt just as the first half came to a close.

Not 100 % on this so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

He sure has a vast array of strange expressions that's for sure.

Another one...of course this is because we ARE playing Butter next and it makes good media..it also makes sense why someone is working extra hard in the gym this week

USA Today Sports gets in on the action...nothing really new here, just posted since it's a major news outlet.

More hacks at work I guess according to one of our notable sympathizers. They all must be Crean haters too lol. This is such a non story that the Boston Globe and USA Today are getting in on it. Heck they're late to the party. We've been all over this since last March. We started the ball rolling...now get Glass out of the way to make it happen.

Oh no. So the players will be toast before Christmas instead of our usual late February collapse? Practice makes perfect?

Rondo traded from the Celtics.

I wonder what Stevens is thinking right now.

I do wonder... Are their plans to rebuild based around stevens, or will they trade and draft their way to talent?

Maybe they had forseen giving up Rondo when they hired Brad Stevens..  The guy has proven that he can motivate and teach young talent, they just needed to get the veteran off the team in order to make room for fresh young blood to grow.

You mentioned something here that I've wondered about since Stevens went to the league. Teaching. Does the game heavy schedule of the NBA with limited practice time fit his strengths as a teaching coach? While this is no gamebreaker, it makes me wonder if the college game is more attractive as a teacher?

I'd think you are right.  With the shear volume of games, the coaching position has got to be more about managing time on the court for players, making sure the players get into their rhythms, and trying to peak at the right time, etc. rather than actually teaching fundamentals or going through the paces in practices.     But what do I know.

The level of teaching is dependant on the coach, just like in college.  I doubt many people watch a Popovic or Thibideau coached team, and wonder if the NBA schedule allows enough time to teach players.  Also remember that there are no time restrictions in the NBA for coaches to work with players.  As long as you have players that want to learn, I don't think Stevens would have any issues making an imprint at the NBA level.
