Besides the height difference of our guys vs. Louisville the Hoosiers just look smaller built than the Louisville except maybe Yogi.  I know they have a good strength program and coach but I think they need to hit the weight room more and develop both upper and lower body to compete under the basket.  Our guys just get blow out of there it seems to me.

Our guys will get there with Coach Jackson...we're younger and haven't been on the weight program as long as some of their guys.

On another note, I really don't like U of L. I wanna play them again. Crean better commit to a series with them. And why KJ would want to associate with those slimy tools is beyond me. Ugh. I hate losing.

Alright. To be honest, in person, this was a really fun one to watch. I saw a lot of good play out of Hanner, Holt, JBJ, and the Nick. The rest of the team, minus two individuals, played at or above their current level. I was proud of 11 members of this team.

Sadly, the two players who have already caused trouble and already been placed on a short leash, were selfish and truly unintelligent on the court tonight. Stan and Troy looked god awful. Sure Stan had a nasty reverse layup and Troy was in on a nice block, but they were selfish and hurt the team. Really sucks to see that...

Overall, we aren't supposed to win these. This team is trying to make the tournament, and I saw a lot of positives that will help us get there. Hanner looked like a real player out there. I hope this game was indicative of his improvement. Hartman played scared. 16 minutes. No shots. 2 turnovers. 2rebounds. Not a high major player.

Much improved though. Rather Zeisloft get those minutes and as Max develops, Max get some too.

We are young and looked it at times-----this game should make us a better team down the road.

 

We now know we can go toe to toe with one of the top teams in the country ----and we have finally seen top defense and top bigs.

I still don't like UL---but I have to admit they are a tough team---especially if they are hitting jumpers and free throws.

We did learn that we can still score the ball against a great defensive team.

 

Now we have to keep improving our defense and rebounding.

 

This game should help us win the Georgetown and/or Butler games.

Love all the Eat Salty Pen*s Nuggets love on the app. "easy win." "ul routs iu" they don't play the foul game at the end then it's not a 20 pt "blowout." Sure IU deserved to lose due to turnovers and lack of rebounding but I truly hate the four letter network.

The Good:  Hanner actually made some post moves.  The team competed for most of the game.  That DUNK.

 

The Bad:  We lost.  Some lineups were a little odd.  Freethrows...

 

The Ugly:  Harrell... dunking again.  Didn't respond well to thug ball.  Turnovers, defense, rebounding.
