He does seem different in some ways. ....Very quiet ...sometimes brain injuries change your personality ... I just hope things work out for him all the way around

 

Once he's back in full run with the team and gets back on the court I'm willing to bet we see some emotions.

Regarding Devin's demeanor and facial expression at games: Depression and a flat affect are common symptoms of a traumatic brain injury. ( I am not a medical expert but do know something about traumatic brain injury because a family member suffered from one. )

 

Devin has made amazing progress but he still needs time to heal. I wouldn't expect him to be laughing, smiling, and jumping around high-fiving his teammates right now. It's just a blessing to see him at the games.

I hope I don't get killed for this, but it's probably best that he's more "quiet" now.  The Devin that ran into traffic needed a change.  I respect the hell out of him for realizing that.
