Hoosier 7 ft Man O' Mystery Sweepstakes

Recommended Posts

More detail??Welllll....

Ya see, we got trouble, right here in Btown City.

And that starts with 'T' and that rhymes with 'B' and that stands for Boot!

Trouble, oh we got trouble,
Right here in Bloomy City!
With a capital "T"
That rhymes with "B"
And that stands for Boot,
That stands for boot.
We've surely got trouble!
Right here in the Hall,
Right here!
Gotta figger out a way
To keep the young ones moral after school!
Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble...

Posters of Btown!

Heed the warning before it's too late!
Watch for the tell-tale sign of corruption!
The moment a player leaves the dorm,
Does he tie his bball shorts below the knee?
Is there a wacky terbacky stain on his index finger?
A transfer offer hidden in the backpack?
Is he starting to memorize jokes from Rupp Rafters or Gold and Black Illustrated?
Are certain words creeping into his conversation?
Words like 'Twitter?"
And 'where's my fake id?"
Well, if so my friends,
Ya got trouble,
Right here in Crean City!
With a capital "T"
And that rhymes with "B"
And that stands for Boot.

What's a "wacky terbacky" stain look like?

So I can be on the lookout.

1)  Tijan Jobe career IU totals: 15 points, 31 rebounds

2)  Bawa Muniru IU career totals; 11 points, 13 rebounds

3)  Peter Jurkin IU career totals: 2 points, 4 rebounds.

4)  Jeremiah April IU career totals: 2 points, 2 rebounds.

The boot is off, Jeremiah's only one game in, and he's already almost in third place in the "Hoosier 7 ft Man O' Mystery" Sweepstakes!   :dancer:

I think the old TV show--The Jefferson's ---theme song sums it up the best: "HE'S A MOVING ON UP!"

:good:

Is holt supposed to b better right away then april? I didn't go to hoosier hysteria and have not seen him. For those that have what do u think

Holt is supposed to be better than April according to recruiting folks. I think Holt moves better, but April is much taller. April seems to react slowly defensively from what I saw from last nights game with tiny guards easily getting their shots, including layups, over him, but April's shot seemed to be solid and it was just one game.

April has the ability, you can see it, but it will take awhile. He has a lot more court awareness than Tijan and Bawa. I think...... if he stays long enough.... will be a decent big for his junior and senior year. Needs to take this year to really learn fundamentals.

He's a project, but a good one imo

I am a big Holt fan too 323SGrant!  He is further along and may not be a 7 footer in height--- but he is in wingspan!

Not worried about April's instincts, but I am very concerned about the complete lack of understanding of the offense and his role in it. I know the retort will be that he hasn't practices due to injury and all, but it didn't appear that he knew the plays at all. All that time to know the playbook and he looked like Tijan at the top of the key. The warning signs were there...I mean he did commit to the University of Indiana. Writing this one off...he be gone in a year or so.
