Yeah how horrible of Lavar putting his kids In a position to succeed in life. All 3 of them. What a crappy father figure he is. They didn’t just wake up 1 day and succeed at basketball. They needed help and dedicated parents. I do understand lavar can be annoying and all but I think he’s a pretty good dad. You might not like him personally but he’s obviously a pretty good father. I wish lavar was my dad

Lonzo ended up alright, although we have to wait and see what happens with his NBA career. I'm not so sure about the younger two though. Liangelo isn't NBA material, and certainly not one and done material. Who knows what the plan with him is. Also LaMelo is being homeschooled and may end up being ineligible when it comes to college. It seems like he did well with his first son but is going off the walls with the other two.

Just because his kids might not make the NBA doesn’t make him a bad dad. That also doesn’t mean the kids will be failures in life because they’re not successful in basketball. Their dad did put them in a position to succeed though and that’s all you can do as a father

Also Lavar’s wife had a stroke some months ago. Still not able to talk or anything like that. Not saying it’s an excuse to steal from China or say dumb things on camera but everyone grieves in different ways I suppose

Succeeding at basketball is a small part of the story.

Don't be surprised if China isn't the last small baller arrest we hear about.

He's costing his son an education, a college basketball career, and a future. He said he's pulling him from UCLA to train him for the 2018 draft. He isn't going to get drafted, he won't be able to play in college, and he isn't going to get an education.

Northwestern is going to be the team this year that was picked to finished High but will end up 10th. One thing is for sure after watching the B1G early on is that IU is going to have opportunities to finish higher then projected.

I think Jay Williams said it best the other night. “The scouting report is out on NW, you just gotta play them physical “ and they will fold

Another observation from the first wave of B1G games is that between the middle of the pack teams no lead is going to be safe. Ohio st was down 22 and came back and won. Illinois was down 20 and came back and lost in OT. Penn st was down 17 to Wisky and had a chance to win it at the end. IU was up 15 before letting Iowa cut it to 1. I think I’m missing one but the fact teams are blowing big leads stood out

The middle of the B1G is wide open. My tiers would be..

Contenders:

Michigan State

Tourney teams:

Minny, pu

Tweeners:

Maryland, Michigan

The middle:

O$U, Penn State, Indiana, Northwestern, Iowa, Ill, Wiscy

Not good at basketball:

Nebraska, Rutger

Umm...after watching Iowa, it seems to me that they should be dropped for the year into the "not good at basketball" category.

That's a special category reserved for the elites. I expect Iowa to get more than the 2-3 wins I'm expecting from Nebrasketball and Rutger. Maybe I should have created another category for Ill, Iowa, and maybe us.

After the first two games of the B1G there really isn't much separating that middle group. I could see finishing anywhere from 5th to 11th.
