str8baller Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Michigan cannot get off the defensive end. Probably 8 second chances for Purdue already. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Purdue's Amish boy is so good at using space and angles -- knows how to work them to get his own shot. For a 6-0 guy to be able to create offense off the dribble like that is pretty amazing. Home Jersey and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Painter > May. Painter also better than almost everyone so that’s no sleight. However if we have May next year, Purdue will still have the better coach. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Pagoda and Alford Bailey 2 Quote

Painter is doing what everyone on this board killed woody for—obsessively dumping it into the post and have his players get a bunch of midrange shots. Quote

I’m using this Gametime to state my opinion that doesn’t rely on this game at all. But I don’t want Painter and Purdue to win the B1G again so I’m a little pissed Purdue is controlling May on his home court. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
LIHoosier Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Vandy started in a 15-0 hole and scratched and clawed to make it 34-32 at half vs Auburn Dave from Dayton, Uspshoosier and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote

He’s more experienced at the very least. but I’m curious as to what people see in him specifically since he generally coaches offense in a manner that people on this board nearly unanimously seem to think is antiquated. Fwiw, almost any coach we bring minus a couple are going to be worse than painter. Quote

str8baller Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Michigan just isn’t as good as Purdue. Purdue players are just individually dominating Michigans best players. I’ll say this though, if May comes here and we block out like this we will be calling for him to be fired after year 1. Brutal. Quote
