Northwestern was probably around the 9 seed range before this game.  Another road win will move them to the 8 line most likely for me

Where do you have Clemson, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia?  My WAR has them all out, but I think in reality Clemson and West Virginia are in and Pittsburgh is just out.  But I think by the end of the year, Clemson may very well have fallen out.

What about Mountain West teams?  I know my system is an outlier that really likes the MWC.

My system likes the Mountain West as well.  Their results-based metrics are especially good, because of their out of conference success.  I have Clemson out (#69), Pittsburgh out (#59).  I have West Virginia (#31) in as an 8-seed range.  Pittsburgh, though, reminds me of Rutgers last year, as they have 5 wins over my top 50, so I think they'd get in based on that.  My system does not like the ACC in general, and having to play Georgia Tech, Florida State, and Louisville won't help the rest of them any.

Since when Purdue develop such cachet with voters? They lost to a team missing two of its top six players and has another starter who has not played well after missing three weeks with a knee injury. LOL!

A lot of it is group-think mentality. People love Painter and they love the way Purdue plays.

Episode 15. Go take a listen. I feel like I'm getting a lot more comfortable. Talk a tiny bit about the Super Bowl, pro bowl, NBA and plenty about college basketball.

I think by strictly wins/losses, they should be #1.  Only they and Houston have two losses and Purdue's schedule has been tougher.

Can not believe that the Pepperdine kid took a two point shot with 1.3 seconds left when they were down three, luckily got fouled, missed their free throw and didn't get the rebound....yet won.

So was there a foul called on the Pepperdine player and a tech on the Portland player? Why wasn't there a tech on the Pepperdine player trying to get a piggy back ride well after the whistle?

I don't know why there was a tech on the Portland player unless he swung, which didn't look like it to me.
