If Brad Davidson did that in Madison, that would have been called a charge on the Duke kid. Banksyrules, HoosierAloha, thebigweave and 4 others 3 1 3 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 #23 Murray State down 1 in the second half at 10-14 Tennessee State. Despite being #23, Murray State needs all the wins they can get if they want to avoid not getting an at large bid should they lose the OVC tournament. This loss would be a really bad one if they lose. Quote

That’s a tourney team. Don’t know if they can dig themselves out of the hole they created. They could easily win the B1G tournament. Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Remember when Purdue was #1? Gonna be third in the Big Ten now. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Painter really playing Williams and Edey at the same time.....Michigan get fast break after fast break. Quote
NashvilleHoosier Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Man I can't remember the last time I watched Michigan play this well. It's probably been since like very specifically Sunday, January 23rd from about 11am to 1pm CST, but again, it's tough to remember. lillurk, HoosierAloha, thebigweave and 1 other 2 2 Quote

TheWatShot Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Purdue keeps double-teaming the ball right after it crosses half-court and Michigan keeps hitting wide open 3's. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Purdue about to be 0-4 when they are held under 70 points. Don't think that tournament teams aren't taking notice. lillurk 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 I hope this stays in the 25-30 point range. Purdue might drop all the way to #5! Quote

KenPom has pointed out that almost without fail, the team that wins the national title ranks in the top 20 in BOTH offense and defense efficiency. There are eight teams in that category right now: Gonzaga, Kentucky, Arizona, Houston, Baylor, Auburn, Duke, and UCLA. Villanova and Illinois could possibly be in that list before the end of the year. Purdue is 1st in offense......101st on defense. And that was before today. For perspective: Abilene Christian is 98th on defense. Hey, at least you can go to GBI and listen to their fans ONCE AGAIN complain about an opponent storming the court. Third time this year -- Rutgers, IU, and Michigan. Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Thinking that a blowout loss is going to make you better is a loser's mentality. You shouldn't have to get embarrassed to figure out what you can do better. lillurk and HoosierAloha 1 1 Quote
lillurk Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Can’t do it well against Dickinson or Kofi but I’m surprised Painter hasn’t tried much small ball Furst/Gillis front court combos to staunch the defense somewhat. Quote
