Yet another Indiana is not in. We are 30th in the AP. Kinda disappointing actually. Why can't Durham make smart passes? He doesn't swing when he should and swings when he shouldn't Hunter needs pulled and sat for the day. Missed out on 33 straight AP polls. Haven't been ranked since the week of January 14-20, 2019. During that week, we lost 51-66 to Nebraska at home and 55-70 at Purdue. This board is for IU fans, including those who are critical of the team. However, I've seen threads on rival boards that are a holding place for anti-IU comments. We will not have a exclusively anti-IU basketball mantra being splattered all over this board. I would say those are reasonable. 34 straight exclusions from the AP sucks. It's been 23 months since we've seen a number next to our name. And I hold Durham to a high standard. He's a Senior and 3 year starter. He needs to start playing like it. As of now, I'd say he's the 5th best player and needs to be playing better and making smarter decisions. And Hunter should have been pulled, he was being lazy on defense. He took a post fadeaway on one end and went down and gave up a 3 because of laziness(which is when I posted that). When good things happen, I'll post about it. We moved up 2 spots in the AP so no losses this week, we might be 25th next week. Quote

To be fair John Wooden, there are a lot of us that are sick and tired of every game we play, the board turning it into a loss. Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 22, 2020 Keyontae Johnson being released from hospital. After collapsing on the floor on December 12, Florida basketball player Keyontae Johnson is being released from the hospital on Tuesday and will spend Christmas at home. Johnson’s family announced the news in a statement that the school tweeted out on Tuesday afternoon. “Today is a great day! Keyontae is being released from the hospital,” the statement read. “We continue to be amazed at the pace of his recovery and look forward to spending Christmas together as a family. Along with so many well wishes and prayers, we’ve understandably gotten questions about the cause and extent of Keyontae’s illness. As much as everyone involved wants firm answers, the process to draw definitive conclusions continues, and we ask for patience as the medical professionals continue their work. “We are committed to sharing not only updates on Keyontae but also any information we think could help others. When we have that, we will share it. Until then, we continue to be grateful for the care and support Keyontae is receiving.” Johnson collapsed on December 12 and was taken off the floor on a stretcher. The cause of the collapse still has not been announced at this time. Johnson was admitted to a hospital in Tallahassee before being moved back to UF's medical center in Gainesville, and despite a statement from the program that Johnson was improving, the Gators canceled their next three games. But things have recently been looking more positive when it came to getting updates on Johnson’s status. The SEC preseason Player of the Year also recorded a video that he posted to Twitter in which he thanked medical professionals and fans for their support. “Hey everybody, first and foremost I would like to thank God,” Johnson said. “I know y’all have been sending your prayers out the last few weeks, and me and my parents are very grateful for the prayers that have been going out. To all the doctors and the medical staff at Tallahassee Memorial and UF, I just want to say thank you for all the support y’all gave me, especially the lady that was in the gym at Florida State. To my Gator Nation and UF athletic family, I just want to thank you for all the prayers y’all gave out to me. Go Gators.” hoosierfan6157, HoosierAloha, RatpigHoosier and 8 others 11 Quote
Stuhoo Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Watching Arky and Justin Smith. As far as I can tell, he is exactly the same player. Active, defending, terrible handle and terrible court sense on offense. JaybobHoosier, HoosierDYT, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote
