Another force fed narrative that so many believe, it becomes truth without any validation.

If the coronavirus reaction and shutting down the economy wasn’t enough, maybe this will help.

It’s not force fed that people are seeing a message about being pro social responsibility as being a partisan issue.

The one take away I thought was interesting is it almost felt like he was telling kids if they want to peacefully protest they can.  I assume he knows kids will take that as they can during games.

True. Frankly I would like to see schools do more to help students to vote. I know it was pain in the butt back in 2008 for me

Have a new story dropping shortly, but am seeing reports from @DanaONeilWriter and @JonRothstein that Nov. 25 and Dec. 4 have become the two most desirable dates, as of now, for CBB season to start. Can confirm that news. And I hear Nov. 25 might even be the "leader" as of today.

Looks as if Lute Olson might not have much time left ...

I found the wording on this a little odd, saying he's in the "fight of his life." When you go to hospice, you don't really go to fight. You go to be comfortable and hopefully have a peaceful final few days/weeks.

Man that stinks.  I always liked how his teams played.  Agreed on the wording.

Story from Pat Forde on Will Wade and LSU.

https://www.si.com/college/2020/08/27/will-wade-allegations-lsu

The NCAA is so weak. What else do they need to nail this guy? Nothing will happen. They will continue to punish self reporting schools for giving kids travel meals at McDonald's. Meanwhile, literal crooks and frauds have nothing to fear.

Watching all of this go down, IU better never self report violations ever again.

Hopefully with McRobbie’s departure we can actually start caring about winning instead of the facade they’ve put on for years.

Our buddy Keion Brooks is on ESPN for supporting the name change for Rupp.  I am sure that will endear him to BBN.

Yeah ... no matter what opinion anyone might have about the name change, I'm thinking we all can agree that Keion Brooks is in for a wild ride after his statement. While that is all well and good for someone who is speaking with the courage of his convictions, in this case the quote from Keion is:

"Being honest, I haven't educated myself well enough on Adolph Rupp or just the whole situation at hand to really give you my thoughts on it From what I do know, I would like to see a name change just basically because of what his name is and what that's connected to and what that kind of represents. I would like to see a name change."

That reads like a 19 year old walking into a minefield accidentally.

Annnnnd...here it is:

From the happy-go-lucky folks at Rupp's Rafters, here are the two Keion Brooks threads topping their message board. I wonder if the NCAA will grant an immediate transfer due to (soon to follow) social media death threats:

Strikes me as a pretty accurate list. Would probably have Maryland above the 2 Michigan schools based on their insanely good recruiting base. But otherwise, 2 things;

1) Yet more validation of the extraordinary  job Steve Pikiell is doing. I am such a fan of that guy.
2) Didn’t know Iowa’s standards for admission were softer than other schools. Interesting.
