Uspshoosier Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Have a new story dropping shortly, but am seeing reports from @DanaONeilWriter and @JonRothstein that Nov. 25 and Dec. 4 have become the two most desirable dates, as of now, for CBB season to start. Can confirm that news. And I hear Nov. 25 might even be the "leader" as of today.Norlander Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners BGVille Hoosierfan, ElectricBoogaloo, HoosierAloha and 1 other 4 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Looks as if Lute Olson might not have much time left ... I found the wording on this a little odd, saying he's in the "fight of his life." When you go to hospice, you don't really go to fight. You go to be comfortable and hopefully have a peaceful final few days/weeks. mamasa 1 Quote

What else do they need to nail this guy? Nothing will happen. They will continue to punish self reporting schools for giving kids travel meals at McDonald's. Meanwhile, literal crooks and frauds have nothing to fear. Watching all of this go down, IU better never self report violations ever again. Yeah ... no matter what opinion anyone might have about the name change, I'm thinking we all can agree that Keion Brooks is in for a wild ride after his statement. While that is all well and good for someone who is speaking with the courage of his convictions, in this case the quote from Keion is: "Being honest, I haven't educated myself well enough on Adolph Rupp or just the whole situation at hand to really give you my thoughts on it. From what I do know, I would like to see a name change just basically because of what his name is and what that's connected to and what that kind of represents. I would like to see a name change." That reads like a 19 year old walking into a minefield accidentally. Class of '66 Old Fart, mdn82 and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote

I wonder if the NCAA will grant an immediate transfer due to (soon to follow) social media death threats: https://kentucky.forums.rivals.com/threads/first-wildcat-who-i-do-not-like.326793/ https://kentucky.forums.rivals.com/threads/here-we-go.326791/ Class of '66 Old Fart and mdn82 2 Quote

Would probably have Maryland above the 2 Michigan schools based on their insanely good recruiting base. But otherwise, 2 things; 1) Yet more validation of the extraordinary job Steve Pikiell is doing. I am such a fan of that guy. 2) Didn’t know Iowa’s standards for admission were softer than other schools. Interesting. WayneFleekHoosier and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote
