I did not realize this until just last night: Wofford is ranked in the Top 25.

The Terriers are No. 24.

My mom owns a terrier. I do not think, however, that he is a Wofford fan. I'm pretty sure he roots for the boys in the candy stripe pants.

Outside of the NFL Season the best time of the year in Sports. IHSAA State Tournament, conference tournaments, and the NCAA Tournament! NFL Free Agency too!

Which is more than enough to tide me over until Opening Day! (Although living in Virginia these days, I no longer get to experience the IHSAA tourney -- but to me, it really lost its luster when it went to four classes anyway).

Ohio State just announced that Kaleb Wesson has been suspended for a "violation of Ohio State Athletics Department policy." The big fella is averaging 14.6 points and 6.7 boards. Buckeyes play at Purdue Saturday.

Ouch, that's gonna hurt

With no knowledge whatsoever of what Kaleb did...

Of course it happens right before they play Purdue.

Man, winning really does solve a lot of problems. Iowa getting dismantled by Rutgers at home. Bohannon stands there after coughing up the ball and watches his defender dunk on the other end. Baer falls down after a collision with McCaffrey and McCaffrey walks away instead of helping him up. Horrible body language from Iowa the entire last 10 minutes.
