Timme is like 45 years old so he's seen his share of fair weather fans.

Seems like Timme has been there forever…

But Race has been at IU long enough for me to have two more kids, buy and sell 3 houses and two different corporate moves. Crazy to actually type that out haha.

So Purdue at #1 tomorrow?

IU looking really good. We keep playing like we are we knock them off at home.

But I’d rather they take some extra Ls somewhere.

Personally I think they will be but I won’t at all be surprised if it’s Bama.    Bama has been torching SEC teams

Purdue has 2 losses coming up. We just need one other team to help us out a little. Book it!

I think the pollsters will give Purdue the benefit of the doubt with their one loss versus Bama's two and Purdue beating Gonzaga who gave Bama one of their L's.  But based on the most recent bracketology Purdue has only faced two teams solidly in the tournament since the Phil Knight Invitational on Thanksgiving weekend and they lost to one of them.  Meanwhile no one has came within single digits of Bama since they lost to Gonzaga on Dec. 17th, including a couple solid SEC teams.  In other words, Roll Tide tomorrow.

With Hoosier Joe's poll, here is the combined LCS/WAR/JOE poll.

Could make this a weekly thing -- combined rankings of anyone posting a top 25 poll.  For the record, this week's combined rankings are:

Loaded Chicken Sandwich:  true top 25 poll

Brumdog's WAR:  poll measuring team's value above NCAA tournament at large minimum

HoosierJoe:  computer ranking

Top 25/points

1.  Alabama (2):  74

2.  Purdue (1)  73

3.  UCLA 62

4.  Kansas 61

5.  Houston 59

6.  Kansas St 58

7.  Tennessee 57

8.  Virginia 51

9.  Arizona 48

10. Gonzaga 47

11. Iowa State 40

12. Marquette 39

13. Texas 38

14. Xavier 33

15(tie) TCU and Florida Atlantic 27

17(tie) Connecticut and Auburn 25

19 St. Mary's 24

20. Baylor 21

21. Charleston 17

22(tie) New Mexico and San Diego St 10

24. Providence 9

25. Clemson 7

Also receiving votes:  Kent St 5,  Miami (F) 5, Boise St 3, Indiana 3, Memphis 3, Utah State 2, Kentucky 1.

*for the record, only LCS had Indiana in the top 25 so I can eat a little crow on my prior rant.
